- Description
- What is the best available evidence with regard to the use of nutritional supplements in the prevention and management of hip fracture? Fractures of the hip are a significant cause of later ill-health and mortality in older people. People with hip fractures are often malnourished at the time of the fracture. Under-nutrition is linked to more complications after surgery, and can delay recovery.
